Celico was bred by Terri Meador of Herradura Andalusians and to this day I am thankful to her for entrusting me with the future of this promising colt. He is out of the pure Terry mare Arisca and the legendary Indiano XVIII who was twice supreme champion of funcionality in Spain and represents the blood of the Romero Benitez line. Through both of his parents Celicos' lineage is heavily "Cartujano" in his ancient and modern origins, and it shows!

In the footsteps of his royal ancestors, he is all I have ever hoped for in a stallion. Beauty, intelligence, bone, great feet and incredibly powerful movement. He is my dream come true, the dressage horse of my future.

The moment our mare Luna de Oro gave birth to her second foal I happenend look up in the sky and saw a shooting star out of the corner of my eye and I knew when this baby tried to slowly unfold his unusually long legs that he would be really special. In that moment the name "Cometa" came to my mind. And now, three years later he has everything it takes to become a star. Amazing beauty and pressence, movement: smooth and elegant, intelligence, and a great disposition. He is everything that I ever wanted in a horse.

Cometa will stand beginning in 2009 to a limited number of outside mares. Please keep him in mind for your future breeding program.
