			Sabine has created a line of jewelry that is truly different. Described at times as contemporary with an ancient feel, modern/medieval, whimsical/sophisticated, perhaps capturing some of the paradox that makes life interesting. Using silver, gold and stones each piece is created to be as unique and as individual as the person who wears it. Technical Description I use a variety of traditional and personally developed jewelry making techniques. All of our jewelry is fabricated and is unique, original, and of high quality. Many pieces start with a design acid-etched into a plate of nickel or brass. Using a rolling mill these designs are then embossed onto a plate of silver or gold. Shapes are then cut out (rings, earrings etc.) and these shapes are hammered, formed and soldered into the final form. Stones both precious and semi-precious are set in gold bezels. Handcrafted gold accents are soldered on to silver or gold backgrounds. Many of the necklaces and bracelettes have handwoven chains of fine silver. The results are one-of-a-kind pieces that are functional and beautiful.
